Storage Array Component - Loss of Communication

What Caused the Problem?

One or both of the RAID controller modules in this storage array cannot communicate with the storage array component listed in the Details area. This problem typically occurs when a component is removed that the RAID controller modules need to gain information about other components. The Recovery Guru Details area provides specific information you will need as you follow the Recovery Steps.

 Caution: Electrostatic discharge can damage sensitive components. Always use proper antistatic protection when handling components. Touching components without using a proper ground may damage the equipment.

Recovery Steps

1 Complete the first task below, then click the Recheck button before proceeding to the next task:
1 Replace any components that were recently removed.
2 Replace any components that are being reported as failed in the Summary area.
3 Complete the Recovery Steps for any other problem reported in the Summary area.
2 Click the Recheck button to rerun the Recovery Guru. The failure should no longer appear in the Summary area. If the failure appears again, contact your technical support representative.
