A foreign physical disk that is part of a Contingent disk group has an inconsistent role (For example, the physical disk may be assigned to a disk group and unassigned at the same time). A foreign physical disk is a physical disk that has been exported from this storage array or not yet completely imported into the storage array. The Recovery Guru Details area provides specific information you will need as you follow the recovery steps.

Refer to the Details area to find which physical disk slot is
reporting the foreign physical disk. |

| 3 | Select the Contingent disk group in the Logical View, and then select the Advanced >> Maintenance >> Import Disk Group menu option. | ||||||
| 4 | Follow the instructions in the
Import Disk Group dialog to properly import the disk group
into the storage array. Notes:
