Recovering from Virtual Disk Deletion Failures

The Delete Virtual Disk or Delete Disk Group-Progress dialog shows a list of failures if selected  or  cannot be deleted. Follow the tasks in the table before attempting the delete operation again:

Disable the read-only status on the virtual disk by selecting Change >> Target Virtual Disk Permissions >> Disable Read-Only from the .

Reconfiguring

Wait until any reconfigure operations are complete before trying to delete the disk group.

Reconstructing physical disks

Wait until any  is complete before trying to delete the disk group.

In active copy operation

Wait until any virtual disk copies are complete before trying to delete the disk group.

Offline

Place the disk group online by selecting the Advanced >> Maintenance >> Place Disk Group >> Online.

Mirror repository

Deactivate  by selecting Storage Array >> Remote Virtual Disk Mirroring >> Deactivate before attempting to delete disk groups.
