Viewing Host Properties

Use the Host Properties dialog to view the basic information about a .

Note: In addition, you can also view host properties from the Mappings tab in the . Use the Storage Array Profile when you want to view properties on all hosts??at once.

From the , select a host in the Logical View, and select Mappings >> Properties.

Properties displayed include:

  • ??name – The name given to the host when it was created.
  •  – The operating system on which the host is running.
  •  – The hexidecimal identifer of the first host port.
  • Alias – The alternative name given to the host port.
  • Host port identifier 2 – The hexidecimal identifer of the second host port.
  • Alias – The alternative name given to the host port.
