Learn About the Task Assistant

The Task Assistant provides a convenient central location from which you can choose to perform the most common tasks in the  (AMW). The Task Assistant has shortcuts to tasks, such as configuring a , saving a configuration, defining a , creating a new , and mapping additional . If there is a problem with the storage array, a shortcut to the Recovery Guru appears, where you can learn more about the problem and solutions to fix the problem.

You can configure the Launch Pad to appear each time you open the AMW, or only when you choose to view it. The Task Assistant opens automatically when you open the AMW. You can choose to turn off this feature by selecting Don't show the task assistant at start-up again, or deselect this option to continue opening the window at start-up. Select View >> Task Assistant to open the Task Assistant at any time.
