Use the Check Disk Group Consistency option to check the
Important:
- This option should be used only under the guidance of a Customer and Technical Support representative.
- This option cannot be used on
disk groups which have no redundancy. - If you use this option on a
disk group, the consistency check compares the data on the mirrored physical disks. - If you perform this operation on a
or disk group, the consistency check inspects the consistency information that is striped across the physical disks. - To successfully perform this operation:
- The
in the disk group must be . - The disk group must have no virtual disk modification operations in progress.
- This option can be performed only on one disk group at a time. However, you can alternatively perform a consistency check on selected virtual disks during a
operation. See Changing Virtual Disk Properties for information on enabling a media scan consistency check on one or more virtual disks in the .

Select a single disk group in the Logical View; then select Advanced >> Recovery >> Check Disk Group Consistency. |

Click Start. The Check Consistency operation begins. The virtual disks in the disk group are sequentially scanned, starting from the top of the table in the virtual disk dialog. As each virtual disk is scanned:
Note: Selecting Cancel during a consistency check will close the dialog. Immediately running a consistency check on the same disk group might cause an error. To avoid this, wait one to two minutes before running another consistency check on the same disk group. |
