Failed status

A volume status that occurs when two or more drives have failed in the same volume group, or when one or more drives have failed in a RAID Level 0 volume group. All of the volumes on the volume group are no longer operating. This status is the most serious one for a volume. Physical components, such as controllers, drives, and power supplies, can also have a Failed status in the storage management software.
