What is a partially managed storage array?

A condition that occurs when only one RAID controller module is defined or can be reached when the storage array is added to or found by the MD Storage Manager Software. In this case, virtual disk management operations can be done only on virtual disks owned by the reachable RAID controller module. Many other management operations that require access to both RAID controller modules are not available.
