Correcting a partially managed storage array condition for an in-band storage array

A partially managed storage array occurs when only one RAID controller module is defined or can be reached when the storage array is added to or found by the MD Storage Manager Software.

The following conditions can cause a partially managed storage array that is managed using in-band connections:

Use this procedure to correct a partially managed storage array that is managed using in-band connections.

  1. Make sure all cables connected to the RAID controller module are not damaged.
  2. Make sure all cables are tightly connected.
  3. Restart the host-agent software on the host through which you are having problems detecting the RAID controller module.
