write caching
An operation in which data is moved from the host to the cache memory on the RAID controller modules. This operation allows
the RAID controller modules to copy the data to the physical disks that comprise a virtual disk. Write caching helps improve
data throughput by storing the data from the host until the RAID controller module can access the virtual disk and move the
data.
