Show Physical Disk

For each physical disk in the storage array, this command returns:

Depending on the size of your storage array, this information can be several pages long. Refer to Show Physical Disk to see an example of the physical disk information returned by show physical disks command. The physical disk information is also returned for the show storageArray profile command.

Syntax

show (allPhysical Disks [driveType=(fibre | SATA | SAS | PATA)] | physical disk [trayID,slotID] | physical disks [trayID1,slotID1 ... trayIDn,slotIDn]) [summary]

Parameters

Parameter Description

allPhysical Disks

Returns information about all physical disks in the storage array.

driveType

The type of physical disks for which you want to retrieve information. Valid physical disk types are: fibre, SATA, SAS, or PATA.

physical disks

Identifies the enclosure and slot where the physical disk resides. You can enter enclosure IDs and slot IDs for one or several physical disks. Enclosure ID values are 0 to 99. Slot ID values are 1 to 32. Enclose the enclosure ID and slot ID values in parentheses.

summary

Returns the status, capacity, data rate, product ID, and firmware version for the specified physical disks.
