Clear Virtual Disk Unreadable Sectors

This command clears unreadable sector information from one or more virtual disks.

Syntax

clear (allVirtual Disks | virtualDisk [virtualDiskName] | virtual disks [virtualDiskName1 ... virtualDiskNamen]) unreadableSectors

Parameters

Parameter Description

allVirtual Disks
Use this parameter to clear unreadable sector information from all virtual disks in the storage array.

virtualDiskName
The name of the specific virtual disk for which you want to clear unreadable sector information. You can enter more than one virtual disk name. Enclose the virtual disk name in square brackets ([ ]). If the virtual disk name has special characters, you must also enclose the virtual disk name in double quotes (" ").

Notes

You can use any combination of alphanumeric characters, hyphens, and underscores for the names. Names can have a maximum of 30 characters.
