If you remove copy pairs, you permanently remove one or more virtual disk copies. Any virtual disk copy related information for the and the is removed from the Virtual Disk tab in the . When you remove a virtual disk copy from the storage array, the target write attribute for the target virtual disk is also removed.
After you remove the virtual disk copy, you can set the target virtual disk as a or a for a new virtual disk copy. When you remove a virtual disk copy, you also permanently remove the Read-Only attribute for the target virtual disk.
Note:
The Remove Copy Pairs option does not delete the data on the source virtual disk or target virtual disk. The Remove Copy Pairs option merely removes the copy relationship that is present between the two virtual disks.
