Each has its own address space. The host permits defining which LUNs that can access in the storage array. The are associated with hosts, which are connected to specific LUNs. You can create virtual hosts so that you can associate iSCSI initiators on the same host with different LUNs. To split up iSCSI initiators for separate LUN mappings, you must associate the iSCSI initiator with a different name for the same host.
Note:
Usually only one iSCSI initiator is needed. Having more than one iSCSI initiator associated with a host is unusual.
