Increasing the Capacity of a Snapshot Repository Virtual Disk


Note:

If there is no free capacity or no unconfigured capacity available, the Expand Snapshot Repository option is not available.

Use this procedure to increase the storage capacity of an existing snapshot repository virtual disk. Use this procedure if you received a warning that the snapshot repository virtual disk is almost full.
  1. Click the Modify tab, click Modify Snapshot Virtual Disk, and then click Expand Snapshot Repository.
  2. Select the snapshot repository virtual disk that you want to expand from the list of repository virtual disks, and then click Next.
  3. Is there sufficient free capacity available to expand the snapshot repository virtual disk?
  4. Set the amount of capacity by which you want to increase the snapshot repository virtual disk, and then click Finish.
    The final capacity of the snapshot repository virtual disk is shown. The final capacity is also shown as a percentage of the source virtual disk.
  5. Click Yes to confirm that you want to increase the capacity of the snapshot repository virtual disk.
    The Expand Snapshot Repository – Started window appears.
  6. Click Close to close the Expand Snapshot Repository – Started window.You can view the status of the expansion operation from the Operations in Progress option on the Summary tab.
