If you are downloading to more than one , the physical disks must be from the same manufacturer. Each physical disk selected should have the same product ID.
Before you download physical disk firmware packages to each physical disk in your storage array, download the firmware packages to just a few physical disks. Make sure that the download completes without errors, and test the performance of the new firmware on the selected physical disks. When you know that the new firmware works on the physical disk, download the firmware packages to the remaining physical disks.
