After you create a and with Automatic Configuration, you can change the configuration of a virtual disk. For example, you can increase the capacity. You must replace the virtual disk that you created using the automatic procedure with a virtual disk that you create using the manual procedure.
When you create disk groups and virtual disks using the Automatic Configuration task, all of the virtual disks in the disk group have the same configuration. If you want to change a virtual disk to a different configuration, you need to re-create the virtual disk using the manual virtual disk configuration procedure.
