Foreign Physical Disk Has Inconsistent Role

What Caused the Problem?

A newly inserted physical disk has had its role modified and is now inconsistent with its prior role in a disk group to be imported. A physical disk can be assigned a role of Unassigned, Assigned, Standby Hot Spare or In-Use Hot Spare. The Recovery Guru Details area provides specific information you will need as you follow the recovery steps.

Caution: Electronic discharge can damage sensitive components. Always use proper antistatic protection when handling components. Touching components without using a proper ground may damage the equipment.
