Incompatible Physical Disk Due to Unsupported Sector Size

What Caused the Problem?

A physical disk is incompatible for use in this storage array because it is formatted with a sector size that is not supported by the storage array or by the expansion enclosure that the physical disk was inserted into. Important Notes

• This problem usually results from importing a physical disk that was formatted in a different storage array.
• In the physical disk's current state, it cannot be used in the storage array, nor can it be fixed while in this storage array.
• If you need to use this physical disk in this storage array, you must first low-level format the physical disk to a sector size that is supported by this storage array.  Contact your technical support representative for assistance in determining supported sector sizes. This operation must be done outside of this storage array (perhaps in the original storage array) and will erase all data contained on the physical disk.  Perform this operation at your own risk.
• In order to keep the information that resides on this physical disk, you must reinsert it back into the original storage array.
• You can replace the physical disk while the storage array is receiving I/O.
