Record the total cache memory size for each RAID controller module:

You will need
assistance from your technical support
representative to resolve this problem.
- Select the Advanced >> Troubleshooting >> Support Data >> Collect menu option from the Array Management Window (AMW),
and take the appropriate steps to save the support
data to a .zip file.
- Contact your technical support representative and indicate that an "Cache
Memory Size Mismatch" problem is being reported. Send the file you saved to your representative and wait for further instruction.
Do not continue with the remaining Recovery

Obtain a replacement RAID controller module that has the same sub-model
and memory size as the RAID controller module you are leaving in the storage
array. |

Complete the following steps for the RAID controller module you want to
remove:

Select the RAID controller module in the Physical View of
the Array Management Window. |

Select Advanced >> Recovery >> Place RAID Controller Module >> Offline. |

Complete the instructions in the dialog, then select Yes. |

Read all of the following steps before taking any action.

Click the Recheck button to rerun the Recovery Guru. |

Select the Offline RAID Controller Module problem that is being reported in the Summary area. |

Complete the Recovery Steps in the Offline RAID Controller Module to replace the RAID controller module. |

Click Recheck to rerun the Recovery Guru. The failure should no longer appear in the Summary area. If the failure appears again, contact your technical support representative. |
