Important:
- When the
??has only one physical connection (HBA host port), the terms HBA host port and host adapter are synonymous. - Define all of the HBA host port parameters, the HBA host port identifier, the HBA host port name, and the host type during this operation. Leaving one or more of these parameters undefined causes the operation to fail.
- The HBA host port identifier is the
??of the HBA host port. It is also referred to as the adapter node name. - Obtain the World Wide Name of the HBA host port by using the host adapter's boot-up utility.
