- Use this option only under the guidance of a Customer and Technical Support representative.
- This option is not available if all virtual disks are currently owned by their preferred RAID controller modules, or if no virtual disks exist on the storage array.
- Under certain application
environments, a reconfiguration of the multi-path host driver might be an additional requirement. You might also need to make operating system modifications to recognize the new I/O path to the virtual disks.

Select the storage array, and select Advanced >> Recovery >> Redistribute Virtual Disks. |

Click Yes. A dialog displays the redistribution progress while the virtual disks are being moved to their preferred owners. |

Click OK. The progress dialog is dismissed, and all storage array virtual disks are associated with their preferred owners. Selecting a virtual disk in the Logical View displays an association dot next to the RAID controller module in the Physical View that is both the current owner and the preferred owner. |
