A in which the are managed through an Ethernet connection from a to a that is running host-agent software. The host-agent software takes requests from the storage management station and then sends them to the storage array RAID controller modules through the I/O connections between the host and storage array. The RAID controller modules also use the I/O connections to send event information back to the storage management station through the host.
