Create Copy Wizard: Select Target Virtual Disk and Copy Priority

This dialog allows you to select the  and set the  for the .

Caution: Risk of data loss - A virtual disk copy overwrites data on the target virtual disk and automatically makes the  to . After the virtual disk copy completes, use the  to disable the  attribute for the target virtual disk. If you have used the target virtual disk in a virtual disk copy before, ensure that you no longer need that data or have backed it up.

Valid Target Virtual Disks

All valid target virtual disks on the  are displayed in the list in alphanumeric order.

Important: The following  are not valid target virtual disks and do not appear in the list:

You can also create a target virtual disk specifically for the virtual disk copy. See Using the Create Virtual Disk Wizard for procedures and more information.

Tip: After you have selected or created a target virtual disk, give it a unique name so that it is easily recognizable in the Logical View. For example, if the source virtual disk name is Accounting, call the target virtual disk Accounting-Copy. In this way, you can quickly identify the source virtual disks and target virtual disks available on the storage array.

View Physical Disks Dialog

From this dialog, you can launch the View Physical Disks dialog to view physical disk, slot, and capacity of the target virtual disk. This information can be used to copy high-access virtual disks to different  for increased accessibility or to copy virtual disks to a disk group that uses larger capacity physical disks.
