Use this dialog to choose one of the suggested configurations based on your  level, or if the suggested configurations do not meet your needs, you can choose to create your own unique  configuration.

Select one of the configuration options:

  • Choose a suggested configuration

    This option is selected by default, and allows you to choose from one of the suggested configurations. The suggested configurations are displayed based on the unconfigured capacity currently available on your storage array. A summary of the configuration parameters is displayed.

    Suggested configurations might include , , , or  depending on the unconfigured capacity available on your storage array.

    A summary of the configuration parameters is displayed and will indicate:
    • Data protection availability
    • Enclosure loss protection availability
    • Total number of
    • Total number of
    • Total configured
    • Total number of  configured
    • Remaining
  • Create your own configuration

    This option enables you to create your own specific storage array configuration, defining the appropriate number of disk groups, physical disks, and virtual disks you want to create.
