RAID Controller Module In Service Mode

What Caused the Problem?

The RAID controller module was manually placed in Service mode for diagnostic or recovery reasons at the instruction of a technical support representative. It's important to understand why the RAID controller module was placed in Service mode and determine that any problems associated with placing the RAID controller module in Service mode have been corrected before attempting to change the status of the RAID controller module to Online. Before placing the RAID controller module back Online in step 2, make sure that you have performed the proper troubleshooting actions as directed by your Technical Support Representative.

Place the RAID controller module back Online by highlighting the RAID controller module with the "In Service mode" designation in the Physical View of the Array Management Window. Then select Advanced >> Recovery >> Place RAID Controller Module >> Online.

Click the Recheck button to rerun the Recovery Guru. The failure should no longer appear in the Summary area. If the failure appears again, contact your technical support representative.
