Create the snapshot virtual disk
(create snapshotVirtual Disk or GUI equivalent)
Disable the snapshot virtual disk
(disableSnapshot virtual disk or GUI equivalent)
Define the  for the snapshot
virtual disk to the  where it will be used
Register the snapshot virtual disk LUNs
(reboot or OS-specific method)
Stop the host application or suspend data transfer
Run SMrepassist -f
Get dynamic virtual disk member disks
Re-create the snapshot virtual disk

recreateSnapshot virtual disk or GUI equivalent)
If there are more member disks, repeat this step for each one.
Restart the host application or reenable data transfer
Snapshot virtual disk is ready for use
(use as dynamic virtual disk)
Disable the snapshot virtual disk until its required again (for backup or testing)
