The Save Configuration option allows you to save storage array settings,
Use the following procedure to save a storage array configuration:
Caution: Risk of Application Errors. Do not use this option if the storage array is undergoing an operation that will change any logical configuration setting, such as:
- Creating or deleting virtual disks
- Changing
settings - Downloading
- Assigning or modifying global hot spares
- Adding capacity (physical disks) to a
Important: The Save Configuration option does not save the following settings:
- Battery age
- RAID Controller Module time of day
settings - Any
- Storage array password
- Hardware component operating status and states
- Disk group operating status (except

Select Storage Array >> Configuration >> Save. |
| 2 | Select the elements of the configuration that you want to save:

| Note: If you select Virtual Disk-to-LUN mappings element, the Virtual Disk configuration and Topology elements are selected by default as well. Virtual Disk-to-LUN mappings cannot be saved without also saving Virtual Disk configuration and Topology. | |

Click Yes. |

Specify a name for the script file. |

Note: The .cfg extension is used by default for the script file if you do not specify a file extension. |
