Resetting a RAID Controller Module

Use the Reset option to reset a from within the storage management software. Perform the following steps:

Caution: Potential to cause an unresponsive storage array -- Resetting a RAID controller module makes the RAID controller module unavailable for I/O until the reset is complete. If a is using owned by the RAID controller module being reset, the I/O directed to the RAID controller module is rejected. Before resetting the RAID controller module, either verify that the virtual disks owned by the RAID controller module are not in use, or ensure there is a installed on all hosts using these virtual disks.

1	Select Advanced >> Recovery >> Reset >> RAID Controller Module.
2	Read the information on the confirmation dialog, and select a RAID controller module to be reset (A or B).
3	Click OK to reset the RAID controller module.
