- All virtual disk data is destroyed. Do not attempt this operation unless advised to do so by the Recovery Guru. Contact Customer and Technical Support before completing this procedure.
Important:
Use this option only under the guidance of a Customer and Technical Support representative.
You cannot cancel the operation after it begins.
Do not use this option if any modification operations are in progress on the virtual disk or the .
Do not change cache parameters of the virtual disk while the Initialize operation is in progress.

Select the virtual disk to initialize in the Logical View, and select Advanced> >> Recovery >> Initialize >> Virtual Disk.

Type yes, and click OK.
Note: To monitor initialization progress, select the virtual disk, and select Virtual Disk >> Properties.
