Activate Remote Virtual Disk Mirroring Wizard: Preview

Important: Before you can create a , you must activate Remote Virtual Disk Mirroring on both the primary and secondary sites.

Activating Remote Virtual Disk Mirroring will log out any connections to      4 for both RAID controller modules in the , and reserve the port for mirror data transmission. I/O requests received on this port are accepted only from the remote  of the other  in the mirrored pair.

After Remote Virtual Disk Mirroring has been activated on the primary and secondary storage arrays, you can begin creating Remote Virtual Disk Mirrors. If you have not already created the  and , create those virtual disks before creating the Remote Virtual Disk Mirror.

Deactivating the Remote Virtual Disk Mirroring Feature

If you need to deactivate the Remote Virtual Disk Mirroring feature at a later time, select Storage Array >> Remote Virtual Disk Mirroring >> Deactivate. For more information, refer to Deactivating the Remote Virtual Disk Mirroring Premium Feature.
