Start Virtual Disk Initialization
This command starts the formatting of a virtual disk in a storage array.
Note: Initializing a virtual disk is a long-running operation that you cannot stop.
Syntax
start
virtualDisk [virtualDiskName] initializeParameters
Parameter Description virtualDiskName
Name of the virtual disk for which you are starting the formatting. Enclose the virtual disk name in square brackets ([ ]). If the virtual disk name has special characters, you must also enclose the virtual disk name in double quotes (" "). Minimum Firmware Level
