Using the Upgrade Mirror Repository Virtual Disk Wizard
Use this option to create new, larger on your , to move any data from the existing to the new ones, and to delete the old Mirror Repository Virtual Disks.
In previous versions of the storage management software, a maximum of 32 could participate in mirror relationships. The current version of storage management software allows 64 virtual disks to participate in mirror relationships. To support creating more than 32 mirror relationships, any existing Mirror Repository Virtual Disks on the storage array must be upgraded to have a minimum capacity of 256 MB.
Important: If there is not enough or , available on your storage array, you are not able to upgrade your Mirror Repository Virtual Disks. The node you select must have a minimum of 256 MB of available capacity.
The following list describes some of the dialogs you encounter when using the Upgrade Mirror Repository Virtual Disk Wizard:
The Introduction dialog enables you to specify where capacity for the Mirror Repository Virtual Disks should be allocated. The capacity specified can be either Free Capacity or Unconfigured Capacity.
The Create Disk Group dialog enables you to specify a new where the Mirror Repository Virtual Disks will reside, and to specify the level of the disk group that will meet Mirror Repository Virtual Disk data storage and protection requirements.
The Preview dialog enables you to review the steps that are performed when the Mirror Repository Virtual Disks are upgraded.
