Use one of the following procedures to replace a failed

Use the following procedure if your Default Group has no default virtual disk-to-LUN mappings.

Physically replace the failed host adapter with the new host adapter, and reboot the host. |

Select a replacement HBA host port from the New identifier list. The list displays all undefined HBA host ports (that is, all HBA host ports that have not been associated with a host) in ascending identifier order. The first undefined HBA host port is displayed by default. Also, you can type an identifier manually. Important: The maximum length of the HBA host port cannot exceed 16 hexadecimal characters. |

Type an HBA host port name in the Host Port name field. By default, the field displays the HBA host port name associated with the current identifier. Keep the same name or use a similar name. Important:

Click OK. The changed HBA host port definition is saved, and the dialog closes. |
