Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID)

A storage solution in which part of the storage capacity is used to store redundant information about user data stored on the remainder of the storage capacity. The redundant information enables regeneration of user data if one of the disk physical disks in the  fails.

RAID relies on a series of RAID levels to determine how physical disks connect and how the  reads and writes data and ??on the physical disks. You can create , , , , and ??  using this storage management software.

Important: ??requires an even number of physical disks,  and ??require at least three physical disks, and requires at least five physical disks.
