Create Remote Virtual Disk Mirror Wizard: Select Secondary Virtual Disk

Use this dialog to select the  to be used as the  in the mirrored pair.

The virtual disks displayed in this dialog are sorted by capacity, starting with the virtual disk nearest to the  capacity. Virtual Disks with identical capacity are sorted alphabetically. Selected primary and secondary virtual disks can have different  levels, , and  parameters.

Use the following procedure to select a secondary virtual disk.

Important:

Select the secondary virtual disk to be included in the mirrored pair. You can select only one.

Important: The following virtual disks are not valid secondary virtual disk candidates and do not appear in the list:

  • Virtual Disks that are already participating in a mirror relationship
  • Virtual Disks that are  with associated snapshots
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Standard virtual disks with a
  • Standard virtual disks with actual capacities that are smaller than the primary virtual disk. (Note: If a secondary virtual disk is chosen with an actual capacity larger than the primary virtual disk, the  is restricted to the size of the primary virtual disk.)
