Learn About Virtual Disk Modification Priority and Performance
The modification priority defines how much processing time is allocated for modification operations relative to system performance. You can increase the virtual disk modification priority, although this might affect system performance.
Operations affected by the modification priority include:
Changing
of a
Adding Free Capacity to a disk group
Changing Level of a disk group
Modification Priority Rates
The Lowest priority rate favors system performance, but the modification operation will take longer. The Highest priority rate favors the modification operation, but system performance might be compromised.
Viewing the Progress of a Modification Operation
The progress bar at the bottom of the Virtual Disk Properties dialog displays the progress of a modification operation.
