persistent reservation
A reservation on a virtual disk that prevents other hosts from accessing the virtual disk. Unlike other types of reservations,
a persistent reservation reserves access across multiple host ports and provides various levels of access control. A persistent
reservation can query the storage array about registered ports and reservations. Optionally, a persistent reservation provides
for the persistence of reservations during a power loss on a storage array.
