Using the Task Assistant

The Task Assistant provides a convenient, central location from which you can choose to perform the most common tasks in the (EMW). The Task Assistant has shortcuts to tasks, such as adding , naming or renaming storage arrays, setting up , and managing storage arrays.

What are the Enterprise and Array Management Windows?

To open the Task Assistant, do one of the following :

	Select View >> Task Assistant.
	Click the Task Assistant button in the toolbar.

Result: The Task Assistant is displayed.

The Task Assistant also appears automatically when you open the Array Management Window (AMW), unless you have selected not to do so. To turn off the auto-open feature when you start the AMW, select Don't show the task assistant at start-up again.

Deselect Don't show the task assistant at start-up again if you want the Task Assistant to display each time you start the AMW.
