You can add from four locations in the interface: from the Task Assistant, from the tree view, from the toolbar, or from the Edit menu. Do one of the following tasks to add a storage array:
When the storage management software opens, the Task Assistant appears by default. Select Add Storage Arrays. You can display the storage arrays automatically, or select Manual to use the Add Storage Array dialog to enter more specific information about the storage array you want to add.
Right-click the root node from the tree view, and select Add Storage Array from the pop-up menu.
Click the Add Storage Array button on the toolbar.
Select Edit >> Add Storage Array.
You can remove storage arrays in three ways: from the tree view, from the toolbar, or from the Edit menu. Removing a storage array only removes the icon from view without physically deleting the storage array itself. Do one of the following tasks to remove a storage array:
Right-click the storage array you want to remove from the tree view, and select Remove Storage Array from the pop-up menu.
Select the storage array you want to remove from the tree view, and click the Remove Storage Array button on the toolbar.
Select the storage array you want to remove from the tree view, and select Edit >> Remove Storage Array.
