Why am I not able to change the RAID controller module ownership and preferred path of a virtual disk?

You cannot change the RAID controller module owner and preferred path of these types of virtual disks:

• A . A Snapshot virtual disk inherits the properties of its associated . (Snapshot Virtual Disk is a premium feature that is not available on all systems.)
• A . During a Virtual Disk Copy, the same must own both the and the . If both virtual disks do not have the same RAID controller module ownership and preferred path when the Virtual Disk Copy starts, the ownership of the target virtual disk is automatically transferred to the source virtual disk. When the Virtual Disk Copy is completed or is stopped, ownership of the target virtual disk is restored to its preferred RAID controller module. If the ownership of the source virtual disk is changed during the Virtual Disk Copy, ownership of the target virtual disk is also changed. (Virtual Disk Copy is a premium feature that is not available on all systems.)
