When should I change the remote login setting?

Enable remote login access only when a Customer Support representative instructs you to do so.


Attention:

Possible security risk – Only enable the TELNET access to allow a Customer Support representative to have access to the RAID controller module.

Remember to disable the TELNET access after the Customer Support representative has finished working with your storage array. Disabling this access ends any current TELNET sessions. Any new requests to log in are rejected.
