SAS Device Limit Exceeded

What Caused the Problem?

The storage array contains more than the allowed number of total expansion enclosures. The Recovery Guru Details area provides specific information you will need as you follow the Recovery Steps.

Important Notes

This error typically occurs when you have more than the allowed limit of expansion enclosures. If a new expansion enclosure was recently added, it is important to remove the most recently added one from the configuration to get back to a working state. This problem can usually be resolved by removing any additional expansion enclosures that exceed the maximum allowed.
If cabling was modified, revert to the original cable configuration.

Recovery Steps

1	Remove the most recently added expansion enclosures that exceeded the supported configuration limit.
2	Click the Recheck button to rerun the Recovery Guru. The failure should no longer appear in the Summary area.
