Use the following procedure to rename a
Important:
- The maximum length of the name cannot exceed 30 characters.
- The operation fails if you choose a name that duplicates that of another node of the same type. For example, if you attempt to rename a host that duplicates the name of another host in your Topology View, an error message is displayed, and you are prompted to choose another name.
- Any leading and trailing spaces in the name are deleted.

Type the new name, and click OK. If you delete the text from the list box and click OK, the original name of the node is retained. |
