Which data am I collecting?

The Collect All Support Data option provides an automated way to collect data for remote troubleshooting and analysis of storage management software problems. All of the files gathered are compressed into a single archive in a zipped file format, which can then be forwarded to Customer and Technical Support for troubleshooting and further analysis.

The types of data being gathered by this operation include the items shown in the following table.

Major Event Log	majorEventLog.txt A detailed list of events that occur on the storage array. The list is stored in reserved areas on the disks in the storage array and records configuration events and storage array component failures.
Read Link Status Data	readLinkStatus.csv A detailed list of errors that have been detected in the traffic flow between storage arrays on the loop. A file of historical Read Link Status data might also be included the archive.
NVSRAM Data	NVSRAMdata.txt A file that specifies the default settings for the RAID controller modules.
Recovery Guru Procedures	recoveryGuruProcedures.html A detailed list of all the Recovery Guru topics issued in response to problems detected on the storage array.
Performance Statistics	performanceStatistics.csv A detailed description of how your storage array is performing. Data collected includes the I/O activity of specific RAID controller modules or , the transfer rate of the RAID controller module, the current I/O per second, and the maximum I/O per second.
