Where can I get more information about physical disk channels?
Physical Disk channels are the physical links between enclosures and expansion enclosures that transfer I/O data. You obtain detailed information about physical disk channels, including error counts, from the dialog and the Physical Disk Channels dialog. These error counts help you troubleshoot cabling problems in the physical disk channel.
To view general information about the physical disk channels for your , select Storage Array >> View >> Profile, and select
the Physical Disk Channels tab. The Physical Disk Channels tab provides information about the status of physical disk channels in the storage array. Information provided includes the channel status, the RAID Controller Module A and B link status, and any cumulative error counts for each RAID controller module in a report format. To view troubleshooting information, select Advanced >> Troubleshooting >> Physical Disk Channels. The Physical Disk Channels (Summary) dialog shows each physical disk channel, each channel status, the data transfer rates, and the link status.
