Download Physical Disk Firmware Wizard: Download Progress

Use this dialog to monitor the progress of the physical disk firmware package downloads. Perform the following steps:

 Caution: Possible loss of access to data or data loss - Stopping a physical disk firmware download might result in physical disk unavailability or data loss.

Monitor the progress and completion status of the physical disk firmware package downloads to the physical disks. The progress and status of each physical disk participating in the download is displayed in the Progress field of the Physical Disks updated area and in the Progress summary.

Note: Each package download can take several minutes to complete.

Status shown

Definition
Scheduled The download has not yet begun.

In Progress

The firmware package is being transferred to the physical disk. Several physical disks can be updated simultaneously.

Failed

The firmware package transfer could not be transferred to the physical disk, possibly because of a physical problem with the physical disk itself.

Failed - partial

The firmware package was only partially transferred to the physical disk before a problem prevented the rest of the file from being transferred.
Not attempted The firmware package was not downloaded to the physical disk. The download was stopped before it could occur.
Successful The firmware package was downloaded successfully to the physical disk.

Note: A physical disk does not show in the Physical Disks updated area until a download to that physical disk is attempted or the download process has been stopped.
2 To stop the physical disk firmware download in progress, click Stop. 

Any downloads currently in progress are completed and any physical disks that have had attempted firmware package downloads show their individual status. Any remaining physical disks are listed with a status of Not attempted.

If you want to save a text report of the Progress summary, click Save As.

The report saves with a default .txt file extension. If you want to change the file extension or directory information, change the parameters on the Save As dialog.

Either click Close to dismiss the Physical Disk Firmware Download Wizard, or click Download More to begin the wizard again.
