If a virtual disk has any type of reservation when selected as a secondary virtual disk, the primary virtual disk detects a reservation conflict at its first write request to the secondary virtual disk and clears the reservation automatically. Subsequent requests to place a reservation on the secondary virtual disk are rejected. - A
virtual disk can participate in only one mirror relationship. - On a 5884 or 4884 storage array, up to 64 virtual disks may participate in mirror relationships. On a 2882 storage array, up to 32 virtual disks may participate in mirror relationships.
- If the virtual disk you want to use is not in the list, verify that its capacity is greater than or equal to the capacity of the primary virtual disk.
- If no compatible virtual disks exist on the storage array, an error message is displayed. Clicking OK on the error dialog returns you to the Create Remote Virtual Disk Mirror - Select Remote Storage Array dialog.
