Important: This option is not available unless the  is enabled and activated. The RAID controller module owner of the primary virtual disk uses the synchronization priority, so this option is not available for .

Select a primary virtual disk in the  Logical View, and then select either the Virtual Disk >> Remote Virtual Disk Mirroring >> Change >> Synchronization Settings, or Change >> Synchronization Settings from the right-mouse pop-up menu.

Select the primary virtual disks for which you want to change the synchronization priority in the Select virtual disks list box.

In the Select synchronization priority area, use the slider bar to select the appropriate synchronization priority. There are five choices: Lowest, Low, Medium, High, and Highest. These settings are shown with five tick marks on the slider bar. The Lowest and Highest settings are labeled. The higher the setting, the more the primary RAID controller module will prioritize a full synchronization over  I/O, and the larger the impact to system performance.

Select the resynchronization method:

  •  - Select this option to start resynchronization manually after communication is restored to a mirrored pair in an Unsynchronized state. This is the recommended option.
  •   - Select this option to start resynchronization automatically after communication is restored to a mirrored pair in an Unsynchronized state.
