Use the Change Host Type option to change an individual
Important:
- If you are using VERITAS Virtual Disk Manager and want to use Dynamic Multi-Pathing (DMP), you must install the array support library (ASL) software to set up DMP as the default
. In addition to installing ASL, the host operating system must be changed to Solaris with DMP. - If you have
set up as the default multi-path driver, and you want to use DMP, you must uninstall RDAC to set up DMP as the default multi-path driver. - If you are setting up a heterogeneous environment and have or will have
defined, be sure to read the restriction information in Restricted Logical Unit Number (LUN) Mapping before proceeding.

Verify the host operating system by moving the mouse over the HBA host port in the Topology View. The tooltip that appears indicates the host operating system. Alternatively, you can select Mappings >> Show All Host Port Information to see the host operating system. |
